Tips on How to Write an Effective Ad Copy

In writing your ad copy, you must give readers the reason to do business with you. Simply put, just answer these following questions:

Why should I consider your product above all others?

What makes your product or service unique?

What does your company offer that your rival companies don't?

Also, your ad copy must educate your clientele. There may be technical terms or jargons that readers might not understand so try to avoid using them. However, when these are utterly unavoidable, explain them in the simplest way that your readers may understand. And in the case of abbreviations, make mention what the abbreviation stands for at least once.

Once you have addressed the content aspect of your ad copy, you should not neglect the lay out. Make your headlines eye catching. I'm not saying that it should be colourful and quirky. Bold and readable is suitable. Also, your copy must have an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. That way, the idea you are trying to convey may be easily and completely understood by the readers.

Using credible and legitimate testimonials in the ad copy can also prove to be useful. Sand same goes with graphic images. It can aid readers in visualizing the product or service inclusions.
